A Mid Salesforce Developer is someone with 2-5 years of Salesforce development experience (although they may have several years of experience on other platforms).

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
  • Application development: including basic Lightning pages, Lightning Web/Aura Components, assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Testing (unit and systems), and debugging.
  • Striving towards coding best practices and data quality. 
  • Contributing to technical documentation 
  • Support the Salesforce administrator. There may be some overlap where developers help with some administrative tasks (declarative configuration). 
Qualifications:
  • Requires knowledge in Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service or Experience clouds) and at least 2 years of Salesforce development experience. Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle. 
  • Preferred: Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II. Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Javascript Developer.

  • Able to communicate effectively in English and participate independently in Salesforce projects providing technical solutions as required by the role.
