The Work: Data Analyst | Analytics Advisory Sr Analyst
Priority will be given to support the needs of Microsoft field roles with supporting the MW (ModernWork) VoC Core Team as a secondary priority. The continued output of Engineering and additional stakeholders to support the Modern Work business will not be impacted.

The Voice of the Customer (VOC) refers to the process of capturing the feedback, opinions, and expectations of customers regarding a product or service. The purpose of VOC is to help Engineering understand the needs and preferences of Microsoft customers from the field perspective, so they can improve the products and services accordingly.

VOC can be used to inform product development, marketing strategies, customer service improvements, and overall business strategy. By focusing on the needs and wants of our customers, we can build more loyal and satisfied customer bases, increase customer retention, and ultimately drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

· Identifying the key themes or topics within the data: Examine unstructured data and identifying the main themes or topics that emerge.

· Look for patterns and connections: Look for patterns and connections between them. This will help build a narrative that is both coherent and compelling.

· Monitor and analyze results: Monitor customer feedback regularly and analyze the results to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. This analysis should inform of any necessary changes to the goals and measurements.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 2+ years of data analytics experience able to support automation processes.
  • Language(s) Required: English - minimum level C1 required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or Information Technology, Engineering, or experience in related field.
  • Strong Office Utilization
    • Excel (performing pivot tables)
  • Understanding how data is structured.
  • Power Platform hands-on experience
  • Azure DevOps utilization experience
  • PowerBI experience
  • SQL Experience
