Plans, design, implement, audit, and troubleshoot the network security system to keep the network infra stable and optimized. The day to day job is to protect the network infrastructure from various threats/attacks and bugs that could potentially compromise the network.

One should have a thorough knowledge and good hands on experience in managing multi-vendor security system including firewall, proxy, IDS/IPS and UTM devices.

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Plan, implement and deployment of new network infrastructure

·       Analyze and improve efficiency of existing network infrastructure

·      Maintain technical documents and baseline parameters which helps in troubleshooting the network connectivity

·       Participate in troubleshooting calls and provide opinion from SME point of view

·       Provide cost benefit analysis of new and upgrading of old infrastructure


Skills

·       Advanced English skills: writing, reading and speaking.

·       Good hands on experience in configuring policy, NAT and advance security inspection on firewalls

·       Strong knowledge and experience in handling switching technologies – STP, Trunk, L2 multi-pathing, VTP, DTP etc.

·       Good knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols – BGP and OSPF

·       Must have in-depth knowledge and experience in handling configuration and troubleshooting of IPSec S2S and SSL VPN on juniper SRX, FortiGate, Cisco ASA and pulse secure security devices using ike v1 and Ike v2.

·       Strong knowledge and experiment in configuring F5 Load Balancers including different types of VIP, pool, node, iRule, NAT, packet filter, SSL offload and ASM

 

·       Required Experience

·       At least 5 years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer in Network Infrastructure architecture design and implementation

·       Academic background related to computer science.

·       Experience troubleshooting network connectivity in multi-vendor environment

·       Experience in security finding mitigation using various tools and technique – black hole route, RPF, null route, black list, URL redirection, http header rewrite, NAT

·       Experience in setting up external facing web, SFTP, gateway and proxy servers

Possible Academic Background

Degree in the following or similar: Network Security Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology or advanced studies in Systems Engineering and Design.
