Job Description
The Position:
Accenture is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Sourcing Specialist with expertise in a wide range of category areas to develop and execute sourcing strategies, develop sourcing and procurement solutions that are designed to drive spend and savings, and incorporate vendor management metrics that’ll support our client’s goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality, and service levels. In this role you lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution. Specifically, you will:
Essential duties and responsibilities of position:
- Identify key stakeholder and business requirements and have regular stakeholders meeting to update progress and being flexible
- Facilitate the roll-out of global/regional/local sourcing initiatives within markets or MU
- Lead the development of market insights whatever possible and collaborate with the Procurement Category function to share best practices
- Perform supplier selection for local projects align with category strategy
- Design and develop relevant RFP documents, apply best practice to use e-sourcing & e-auctions tools whatever possible, or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations
- Analyze bidding supplier input and identify and maximize savings opportunity
- Prepare a recommendation report for stakeholders as a decision tool to help them selecting supplier(s)
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at any given time from start to finish, communicating with a variety of stakeholders
- Independently drive medium complexity sourcing projects as key focus, even can perform high complexity projects
- Provide guidance to next level sourcing member and resolve escalation from member
- Collaborate and align with category strategy, and keep category management updated in all sourcing projects, and support other category management process like, SRM activities
- Ensure the consistent delivery of sourcing services and support activities that meet and exceed savings and SLA targets
- Seek out opportunities to drive creativity and innovation within each sourcing project, while ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness standards

Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Required
- A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) from a top-tier university
- 6+ years’ experience in sourcing
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal in both English and Mandarin, including formal presentation skills.
- Have indirect category experience, but are able to extend to other categories with standard sourcing methodology and processes
- Deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management processes within Fortune 500 organizations
- Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of suppliers effectively
- Excellent relationship builder with stakeholders or suppliers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction
- Well-developed, solution-oriented selling skills
- Ability to drive transformational change
- Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
- Solid multi-phase project management skills
