Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Support and monitor Quality Assurance Framework and Practice for all CX IT development approaches.
•    Assist QA Practice Lead in ensuring projects and PI’s executed adhere to the Cathay Agile QA Practice.
•    Provide expertise on Testing Execution and Software Quality Assurance to project and Agile teams.
•    Provide assistance and support to project and Agile teams in identifying quality risks and issues.
•    Track various quality measurement (KPI*) to analyze quality risks and issues.
•    Assist QA Practice Lead to conduct audits against project and ART QA activities regularly.
•    Assist QA Practice Lead in providing uplift trainings to both functional and non-functional testing.
•    Ensure vendors’ deliverables are high quality and compliant to CX policies and standards.
•    Work with IT and BU to identify opportunities on process improvements and testing management to improve the overall quality.
•    Collaborate with other IT domains to drive business and technology innovation.
•    Keep abreast of the latest trends in enabling technologies (e.g. Cloud Computing, Blockchain) and software testing.
•    Maintain the operation of QA Community of Practice.

Qualifications

•    Tertiary qualifications are essential
•    A minimum of 4 years of IT experience, with 1-2 years of experience in Agile project End-to-end Test Management and/or Agile@Scale testing will be preferred 
•    Experience in Functional Testing QA, including but not limited to System Test, SIT, UAT, Web Accessibility Testing, and Usability Testing
•    Good understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of using different testing technique, like static, specification-based, structured-based, experience-based techniques
•    Good understanding of the potential benefits and problems of applying different test types
•    Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats to a broad range of audiences
•    Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal communications (assertiveness, consensus building, negotiation)
•    Well-developed analytical, and problem-solving, skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
•    Solid experience in business analysis, software development and project management 
•    Good business domain and industry knowledge
•    Excellent in written English with strong communications in Cantonese and Mandarin
•    Certification in ISTQB/PMP/CISA/ITIL is an advantage
•    Certification in SAFe  Agilist is an advantage
