S&C Business Operations Manager

Work cooperatively to enable the execution of the S&C Strategic and Operational Agenda to enable our MU Business Strategy. Engage key senior stakeholders as a trusted business partner and support them to monitor and report progress. Highly confidential role requiring discretion and trust.

Key Responsibilities

        Business Operations Activities

·       Across multiple projects performs business operations activities (e.g. reporting & tracking, demand/supply, managing risk/issues, creating workplans, liaising with multiple teams…) across multiple Services Areas

Operational and Financial Management

·       Forecast and track the portfolio of projects and functions

·       Design appropriate management reports/scorecards that articulate financial results and highlight inefficiencies

·       Develop and improve standardized operational processes

·       Drive and implement continuous improvement and optimization programs for operational processes

·       Identify and work with S&C Leadership on management of the sales opportunity/new business process and client listings across MU China

·       Manage critical program dependencies, across growth platforms

·       Progress Monitoring and Reporting

·       Supervise and manage the program plan, track progress, cascade updates and changes to the organization

·       Monitor the achievement of the program against the mission, vision and goals and align with business and operational objectives and report on progress

·       Project, Delivery and Operations Planning

·       Ensure delivery/products and operations programs and related work teams have a clear strategy and approaches in place that link to the overall program or account blueprint

·       Establish the mission, vision and goals to align with business and operational objectives

·       Ensure that business operations and related work teams have clear strategies and approaches in place that link to the overall program

·       Manage resources dedicated to Business Operations environment, where applicable

·       Help identify leadership roles and ensure succession plans are in place for each key role

·       Ensure appropriate communications plans are in place at the program level

Qualifications

        Risk and Issue Management

·       Manage Business Operations related risks and mitigation

·       Address concerns escalated by the management team

·       Resolve issues escalated by the management team and escalate unresolved issues

·       Contain and resolve issues within the program that do not require sponsor attention

        Business Operator

·       Able to handle confidential information and able to react promptly in a fluid environment

·       Develop alignment approach of program and project plans and objectives

·       Develop issues and risk evaluation process

·       Ensure high quality work products and processes, take on a project and bring together information from other groups

·       Handle the schedule of information flows and execution of a workplan

·       Ability to work with people from around the world

·       Manage reporting and metrics of project/program progression

·       Familiar with digital Management tools: MME, MMP, MMS, MMB…

        People Developer

·       Collaborate with others to share expertise internally and externally through training and mentoring others, participation in communities of practice and external conferences, etc.

·       Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork; support/lead efforts to increase employee engagement
