Role name: Greater China Strategic HR Initiatives Manager

Overview

The HR Initiatives Manager will be the primary program manager for all strategic and operational priorities of the Greater China GU HR Lead and will,

  • Bring deep knowledge and understanding of the internal and external business, talent and market context
  • Build highly impactful content and analysis, to drive strategic discussions and decisions with diverse stakeholders, collaborators and the team
  • Enable effectiveness and efficiency for the GU HR Lead, across the diverse and intense nature of her responsibilities

 

Major responsibilities

  • Build and own the charter of the GU HR Lead’s strategic and ongoing priorities and interactions, including but not restricted to
    • Interactions with Greater China GU leadership and Global HR leadership
    • Greater China Geo Council and other leadership meetings
    • GMC preparation and other Global HR leadership meetings
    • Interactions with our people
    • Steering Committees/ Reviews on Greater China talent priorities
    • Greater China Core HR team and Extended HR team meetings
    • Community events
    • External events
  • Continuously build and apply deep internal and external insights about the business, the talent, the market context and the global environment
  • Work with GU HR Lead, GU HR teams, business and corporate functions teams to drive timely, high quality and insightful preparation for all important discussions and decisions
  • Build and drive agenda for Core HR team meetings, aligned with Greater China talent strategy and priorities
  • Identify and create opportunities for the GU HR Lead to engage in ongoing and meaningful interactions with our people
  • Identify and create opportunities for the GU HR Lead to engage in the external marketplace, to position Accenture as an industry leader and an employer of choice
  • Build and manage internal and external social media presence for the GU HR Lead
  • Stay abreast of market and competitor intelligence,  latest industry trends, talent insights and enable the Greater China GU HR Lead and her team to operate with a view into the future


Qualifications

Skills, experiences and mindset

  • MBA in any discipline but with an interest in building a career in HR or in Consulting
  • Prior work experience, preferably in a Consulting company or in the high-tech industry or in a successful start-up
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese language skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, building story boards and power point presentations for leadership discussions
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand, interpret data. Advanced in MS Excel
  • Deep curiosity and interest in learning
  • Highly disciplined and efficient but collaborative
  • Courageous and plain communicator
  • Open to new experiences, excited by change and ambiguity
