Job Summary
People Mobility is a service delivery function within Accenture which provides end-to-end support to our employees traveling or transferring on any cross-border, people mobility policy. 
The Cross Border Finance Specialist within People Mobility is responsible for the high quality delivery of Accounting Services in connection with all Accenture cross border finance policies, for understanding and escalating risk area's and compliance issues for countries supported under governance of ET&I CBF.
Key Responsibilities
Value Creator
  • Focused on enhancement & continuous improvement of cross border finance accounting operations through initiatives, customer service, process & system improvements
    • Proactively defining and proposing innovative solutions to ensure high quality accounting services
    • Make suggestions / participate in process improvements & development of support tools affecting cross border accounting
    • Gather & share experience / context as input into people mobility finance policy & program improvements
  • Proactively identify & escalate important issues or provide recommendation for changes to the Cross Border Finance APAC Lead.
Business Operator
  • Serve as subject matter expert in cross border finance accounting services
  • Resolve operational issues and serve as escalation point for CBF APAC team members
  • Maintenance and update of work instructions, process manuals and training materials for CBF APAC team.
  • Assist with developing standard procedures to enable finance service delivery
  • Monitor processes to achieve standards and targets within SLA; ensuring compliance with procedures and policy
  • Assist CBF APAC Lead to plan and execute special projects relating to cross border accounting and strategic finance initiatives
  • Work closely with CBF APAC Lead to develop management and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
People Developer
  • Deliver trainings to team members
  • Coach/counsel others, facilitate team work and process and integration across mobility teams
  • Contribute to a positive work environment; be a role model for cross-teaming

    Supervision and Training
  • Supervises the Cross border finance regional sub team
  • Monitor volume of workload against team size and escalation to People Mobility service delivery lead
  • Ensure all required training programs are taken; leading the EALA team with emphasis on developing Accounting and Finance skills
Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree or equivalent higher education qualification
  • Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc:  ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred
Knowledge/Skills Requirements
  • Financial and Accounting Operations; Financial Analysis; General Ledger; Month End / Year End Processing; Balance Sheets; Journal Entries
  • Strong awareness of U.S. GAAP principles, Sarbox,
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft applications (excel, word, PowerPoint) plus job specific tools (Siebel, SAP, GTF)
  • Strong written and oral communication, relationship/stakeholder management and customer service skills
  • Self-starter. Excellent organizational, time management/project management skills and leadership skill
    Work Experience
  • 4 - 6 years experiences in an Accounting function
  • Deep knowledge of Internal controls, US GAAP (experience with cross-border finance/People Mobility is preferred)

  • None - possible need to travel for meetings
