Financial Management & Operations

  • Responsible for financial management in the geography, assist GUFD to setting up and meeting financial goals and targets, compliance with internal policies and external laws and regulations, timely and accurately complete financial reporting
  • Serve as linkage between Accenture geographic leadership and Finance teams, and enable geographic activities for CDTS, Treasury, Tax, BPO and Client Group Finance Leads
  • Collaborate with HR to drive appropriate management of deployed headcount/productivity drivers to support the business and balance supply and demand, ensure affordability is balanced within the GU
  • Closely manage operation cost, non-contract cost etc. to achieve profitability target
  • Work with related functions with financial analysis, identify the key drivers of business and formulate recommendations for leadership, put in place action
  • Support internal and external audit activities, implement appropriate process-flow to meet internal control requirements
 

Strategy & Risk Management

  • Work with GUFD to set direction of operational excellence.  Establish and implement financial strategy, cost management, transformation efforts, as well as other finance related initiatives
  • Participate in inorganic/M&A strategy in support of growth
  • Mitigate statutory compliance exposures and risks, coordinate and collaborate working teams closely to ensure resolution of issues
 

Business Planning

·         Participate in business planning and target setting exercises with the senior leadership to ensure accurate predictions

  • Drive focus to achieve profitable growth for the Geographic Unit
  • Assist GUFD setup financial roadmap of the GU, involved in multi years business planning
     

Talent Developing

 
In addition to the direct finance responsibilities, the Assistant Finance Director is expected to play a lead role in developing finance talent within the geographic unit.

Basic Qualifications
  • Education:  Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Recommended Qualification: Qualified Accountant – CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Work Experience: 15 years+ professional and finance executive experience
 
Professional Development Skills
  • Ability to work with Managing Directors and upper management as a business advisor
  • Executive level presence and influence
  • Deep understanding of the economics that drive our business, the operating and economic models
  • Understanding of Accenture operational policies
  • Ability and skills to handle complex financial / accounting issues by working with executives and teams to analyze and evaluate situations and recommend mitigating actions and solutions
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills
  • Robust communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
