Foreseeing the explosive growth of Smart Industrial and Consumer Devices, estimated to be between 40-60bn devices by 2020, and to support those device manufacturers in the rotation to new revenue streams & business models, the Connected Devices & Embedded Software practice within Accenture was established 8 years ago to enable our clients to rapidly create, launch and maintain world-class, differentiated connected devices as independent products or in support of broader IoT solutions.
Our comprehensive suite of Technical/Business Advisory, Innovation, Product Engineering and In-Market Operations Services cover all functions in the product lifecycle and the complete stack of an embedded device including HW, OS, Multimedia, Communications & Network Infrastructure, Edge Analytics, Security, Location & Positioning, Embedded UI & advanced User Interaction.
A key component to providing leading edge services to our clients is in the ecosystem evaluation and adoption, or asset development, of new emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Open Hardware Platforms, RTLS technologies, Conversational UI, Computer Vision, Autonomous behavior, Sensor Technologies and AR/VR, among others.
Within the group’s business function exists a number of responsibilities including the following for which we are seeking world leading talent to support the group’s expansion in this exciting area of Accenture Digital:
  • Sales Planning, Campaigning, Origination and Support
  • Multi-year growth strategy including V&A identification & execution
  • Offering Development from conception through to ROI management
  • Ecosystem Management & Industry Membership participation
  • Internal & External Event Marketing
  • Analyst relations
  • Technology Roadmap & Execution
  • Emerging Technology Identification & evaluation
  • Regional Delivery & capability governance
  • Regional Technology Lab & Studio instantiation / primary point of contact

We are looking to grow our dedicated GTM team with deep Industry Expertise either from R&D or Sales & Business Development functions of world leading Device Manufacturers or Tier 1 service companies with a strong history of selling & delivering embedded SW solutions at scale, to high quality, on/ahead of time. Our success is measured on Sales & NR GilC, delivered value, headcount growth and successful V&A outcomes as well as providing governance, and ensuring success of our existing expansive Delivery portfolio.
