Japanese Speaker-- SC&M Procurement Advisory Specialist

 

The Position

Accenture is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Sourcing Specialist with expertise in a wide range of indirect categories to work with Fortune 500 clients to develop and execute sourcing strategies, develop sourcing and procurement solutions that are designed to drive spend and savings, and incorporate vendor management metrics that’ll support our client’s goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels. In this role you lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution. Specifically, you will

 

Essential duties and responsibilities of position

 

             Lead the development of market insights from cross-client sourcing activity and collaborate with the Procurement Category function to share best practices.

             Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations; Drive and manage analytical efforts in areas specific to business function and industry focus

             Negotiate agreement with supplier and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements to aid the Category Management process in SRM activities; (May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement)

             Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans

             Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at any given time from start to finish, communicating with a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally).

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Required

             Language skills Proficient Japanese + at least acceptable business English + Native Chinese

             Consulting, project management experiences or sourcing background

             6yrs+ work experiences in Japan or with large Japanese companies in China is preferred

             Preferred education background/degree in Japan

             Team management experience is a plus, but not a must

             A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics /engineering mathematics) from a top tier university

             Deep knowledge of sourcing or category management process within Fortune 500 organizations

             Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of suppliers.

             Well-developed, solution-oriented selling skills

             Ability to drive transformational change

             Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills

             Solid multi-phase project management skills

             Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients

             Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

             Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

Japanese Speaker--Sourcing Execution Senior Analyst

 

The Position:

Position Title: Senior Sourcing Analyst - MRO & FS

Location: Shenzhen is preferred, other city is under consideration

Reports to: Regional Sourcing Lead

 

Position Description:

 

The Senior Analyst positions will be responsible for providing cross-functional business analysis support in a variety of customer-facing roles. Almost immediately after joining Accenture, our analysts are assigned to streams of project-based work in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Market Intelligence and Category Management through opportunity assessments and supporting the development of detailed, fact-based business cases. The ideal candidate is personable, diligent, analytic, and not afraid of responsibility.

 

Duties may include the following:

 

- Performing data collection

- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, leveraging supply market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements

- Conducting supply market research and benchmarking

- Creating, managing and analyzing RFP's (Request for Proposals)

- Developing new sourcing and category management tools/methods

- Performing numerous problem-solving functions to ensure client satisfaction with Accenture's services

- Category and supplier performance management, including savings tracking and reporting, supplier survey and scorecard, compliance management, CI or VIR management, supplier business review.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Excellent communication skills - Proficient written and verbal in both Japanese and Mandarin including formal

presentation skills; N1 is a must.  Proficient in business English is preferred.

- Consulting, project management experiences or sourcing background

- 3yrs+ work experiences in Japan or with large Japanese companies in China is preferred

- Preferred education background/degree in Japan

- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, independent self-starter that thrives on challenge and

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
