Job Description
Your Role:
- Radio Network Design & Planning: Utilize industry-leading tools (Infovista Planet, Forsk Atoll, and iBwave) to design and optimize RAN coverage, capacity, and performance.
- RF Planning & Optimization: Conduct RF planning, interference analysis, and network optimization to ensure efficient spectrum utilization.
- GIS & Spatial Analysis: Leverage GIS tools for geospatial data interpretation, mapping, and spatial analysis in radio network planning.
- Collaboration with Design & Construction Teams: Work closely with AutoCAD designers and construction experts to ensure the accurate design and deployment of base stations, integrating network planning with site-specific construction requirements and layouts.
- Network Performance & Troubleshooting: Analyze network performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures to meet quality of service (QoS) standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with network architects, deployment teams, and other stakeholders to integrate RAN elements into the overall network infrastructure.
- Industry Insights & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest telecom technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Your Profile:
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven expertise in radio network planning and optimization within the telecommunications industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in RF planning tools (Infovista Planet, Forsk Atoll).
- Strong understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and emerging 5G technologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in RAN design.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
