The Client Account Director is responsible for building trusted advisor relationships for a large portfolio of accounts or as the lead for one large client account by understanding client needs, shaping solutions, and bringing Accenture's expertise and thought leadership to solve their most critical business issues. This role is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, expanding Accenture's footprint, ensuring profitable delivery and influencing the client's strategy to help drive high performance.

 

Here's how you'll make a difference
  • Developing key relationships: Managing the overall client relationship for one large account or a large portfolio of accounts
  • Working across multiple business units and countries (often globally), with broad impact across the client at C-Suite / Board level
  • Growing the business: Achieving sales growth via a diverse mix of offerings, high service group penetration and increased focused of selling into white spaces
  • Account Management: Implementing client account plans through relationship development and opportunity pursuits that builds deeper client relationships. Including monitoring existing services to identify opportunities that provide additional and innovative value to the client.
  • Industry Insight: Using detailed, comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support project strategies and advise / support team members and project partners.
Here's what we're expecting
  • University degree with focus on business or economics and top-of-class results
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience for at least 15 years in a Client Account Leadership role within a consultancy
  • Experience managing large global client accounts with an expansive global presence
  • Experience developing client relationships across multiple business cultures in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America.
  • Based in Zurich or close proximity
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including international overnight business trips that may be up to 5 days long.
  • Maximizer of business impact and value by challenging the status quo.
  • Being a storyteller. Presenting ideas clearly and concisely that inspire hearts and engage minds. Conveying complex ideas simply and effectively.
