An excellent networker with an instinct for business relationships you’ll prospect new clients from the life sciences sector. You’ll manage identified opportunities and actively contribute to your clients’ success by providing thought leadership in digital marketing and communication. Liaising with management, marketing and technical staff as well, you’ll not only develop a pipeline of new business but also come up with new strategies for solution design.

 

As part of the Boomerang team you’ll bring digital transformation to the life sciences industry through insight-backed creative solutions that enhance engagement with key target audiences and a focus on delivering measurable business value for our clients.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You’ll direct opportunities from idea to contract sign-off: contribute from a commercial perspective, provide both strategic and operational support and ensure highest client satisfaction.
  • With the overall strategic direction of Boomerang in mind, you’ll develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction, identify business trends and customers’ needs and make recommendations on product and service development as well as on sales channels.
  • You’ll work with internal teams to plan and develop RFPs/proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.
  • Liaising with other regions you’ll guarantee unified offering and messaging.
  • Last but not least, you’ll direct accountability for achieving sales targets in terms of sales and year-on-year growth consistent with overall business growth objectives.

 

 

  • Educated to degree level and a several years’ track record in digital marketing, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical and/or healthcare sector combined with at least five years’ progressive experience in business development, managing accounts of +$1m
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow a client base and good client retention skills
  • Direct experience working for a digital agency on marketing and communications and in-depth knowledge of the full digital value chain: from digital strategy to digital metrics and analysis across channels and promotional activities
  • Knowledge of design thinking and ability to develop and run related workshops
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and presentation skills, strategic strength and a hands-on mentality
