SAP Authorization Analyst / Consultant (She/He/They)
WHO WE ARE:
Join Accenture’s SAP Security team and contribute to designing, maintaining, and operating secure authorization landscapes across enterprise SAP environments. As organizations modernize their SAP platforms and adopt S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and cloud‑based solutions, well‑structured roles and access controls are critical to enabling business processes while meeting security and compliance requirements.
At Accenture, we support clients throughout the entire SAP authorization lifecycle – from daily access operations and role maintenance to authorization design, governance, and continuous improvement. We work closely with business, functional, and technical teams to ensure high‑quality, sustainable authorization models aligned with best practices and audit expectations.
We are looking for SAP Authorization professionals who want to develop their expertise, take ownership of authorization‑related activities, and grow within the SAP Authorization domain in a collaborative, expert‑driven environment.
THE WORK:
Supporting SAP authorization activities across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and hybrid landscapes.
Maintaining and improving SAP roles and authorizations, including user administration and access changes (e.g. SU01, PFCG).
Supporting authorization analysis and troubleshooting activities (e.g. SU53, authorization traces).
Participating in authorization governance processes such as access reviews, role quality checks, and remediation activities.
Contributing to authorization design and role model improvements based on defined concepts and standards.
Ensuring alignment between SAP backend roles and SAP Fiori authorization concepts (catalogs, spaces, pages).
Maintaining authorization documentation and following established delivery standards and best practices.
Collaborating with senior team members, functional consultants, and security stakeholders on authorization‑related topics.
Actively participating in knowledge sharing and continuous learning initiatives within the SAP Security community.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of remote work, onsite client engagements, or working from the Accenture office, depending on specific project circumstances.
All roles include some in-person collaboration for learning, knowledge sharing, and building relationships with clients and teams. As an employer, we aim to provide maximum flexibility to support your work-life balance.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
Opportunity to grow within Accenture’s SAP Authorization community and work on international SAP programs.
Hands‑on experience supported by experienced SAP Authorization Consultants and Architects.
Clear development path within the SAP Authorization domain, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility.
Exposure to modern SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and hybrid or cloud‑based environments.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Experience supporting tickets or operational tasks in SAP environments.
Willingness to learn SAP authorization design and governance concepts.
Ability to follow defined processes and work under guidance.
Good communication skills and a proactive learning mindset.
SAP Authorization Consultant
3–5+ years of experience in SAP Security with a strong focus on SAP authorizations.
Solid expertise in SAP authorization design, role maintenance, and authorization troubleshooting.
Experience working with authorization governance concepts and audit‑driven access controls.
Understanding of SAP technical architecture and its impact on authorization design.
Experience supporting or contributing to SAP security or authorization assessments.
Ability to work independently on authorization‑focused work packages.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Research indicates that some candidates, especially the most diverse ones, may hesitate to apply for positions if they don't meet all requirements. If you believe you possess the necessary skills, even if not meeting every requirement, we wholeheartedly encourage you to submit your application. We value a proactive mindset, learning agility, and the willingness to build expertise across the broader scope of this role.
