Ann Gaboriault

MONTREAL; June 15, 2018 – Ann Gaboriault, a senior manager in the Montréal office of Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has been named the winner of the 2018 Phénicia Prix Coup de Coeur du Jury from the Quebec LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The award was announced at the annual Phénicia Awards Gala in Montréal on May 31.

“We are very proud of this well-earned recognition for Ann and her dedicated efforts to promote and support the LGBT community through her work with Accenture and various LGBT groups over the past decade,” said Madeleine Chenette, Accenture’s Montréal office managing director. “Accenture is proud to support these and other efforts to help facilitate the full engagement of the LGBT community in Quebec’s business community.”

During her 18 years with Accenture, Gaboriault has worked tirelessly to promote an inclusive workplace. She has co-led Accenture’s LGBT Employee Resource Group in Canada since 2015, and previously from 2009 to 2011, coordinating various activities and initiatives in seven cities across the country. She has worked to ensure that the company’s insurance and benefits plans are tailored to meet the needs of LGBT employees, and she also led the company’s efforts to sponsor various LGBT film festivals and other community events in Montréal, Toronto and Ottawa. In addition to her efforts within Accenture, Garoriault has been active in the Pride at Work Canada organization since 2007, serving on the group’s board of directors as the Quebec representative since 2016, and also contributed significantly to the first Pride at Work event in Quebec City in August 2017.
