The work:
The work in our Cloud Innovation Center is highly dynamic. Starting with our Lean XP (eXtreme Programming) delivery methodologies, you will be working in a team to deliver value to our customers. Our engineers work in a 1:1 pairing model to be both a mentor and student of their software craft. Using a TDD (Test Driven Development) methodology, you will ensure that you are building high quality software at pace.
Work with the Cloud Native Architecture Team to deliver client solutions beyond 12 factor applications born for the cloud
Design and deliver complex custom applications designed to enable change for our clients businesses
Work on every phase of creating Cloud Native applications across cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and others
Conduct assessments, build blueprints and roadmaps, build proofs of concept, and write technical points of view
This role will require 3 days per week at the local corporate office.
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to
reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of Object Orient Programming Language (Java/JVM, .Net, NodeJs, or Python preferred)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
JavaScript Front-end Framework (ReactJS/Angular)
Experience in Spring Frameworks
Experience in Databases (Sql or NoSql) Experience using leading Platform-as-a-Service such as AWS RDS, Azure AKS, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry
Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service providers (AWS / Cloud Foundry / Azure / Google Cloud)
Experience in scripting language (Groovy / Shell / Python etc)
Experience in infrastructure as code scripting (Terraform)
