The Work:
- Lead the Application Management Systems solution with a focus on Data Management
- Deliver large and/or complex full lifecycle data applications across cloud, hybrid and on-prem landscapes
- Support robust data pipelines using scalable tools and techniques (yes, we’re talking big data) to produce high quality data structures
- Collaborate with client to understand business requirements and come up with execution plan.
- Implement quicker data processing methods and integrate complex business logic compatible with daily or real-time/streaming frameworks
- Increase automation and scaling of complex data sets based on the customer’s analytic use case, such as structured data delivery for business analysis, daily extraction of mission enabling data for data mining/exploration and transforming data for applied intelligence to power impactful data visualizations
- Document and present recommendations to clients and/or stakeholder.
This role is located in our Local ATCs (Montreal) and will require on-site 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology Delivery, Architecture, and supporting Application Management Systems
- 4+ years’ experience managing mid-sized teams on an onsite/offshore model.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Data & Analytics solutions on Azure/ AWS, with expertise in tools such as ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, ADF, Azure DevOps and/or equivalents in other cloud platforms such as AWS, AWS Redshift, AWS CloudFront, or Google
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing Data Platforms such as Spark/Hadoop, ETL, Data Analytics Cloud Native Data Services
- Experience developing or migrating Spark workloads
- This role is based in our Local ATCs and will require on-site 2-3 days per week.
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
