In Cloud First Design we help clients execute on their Cloud Strategy and Roadmap. We focus on 4 key pillars to enable our clients Cloud Transformation journey:

Cloud First Design leverages deep cloud business and technical expertise to accelerate our clients Cloud adoption enabling broader enterprise transformation initiatives.

You Are
Cloud First Design consultants translate client requirements into solutions that will create value for Accenture and our clients. They are master craftsmen using all tools in the arsenal, Cloud First Design consultants use their robust advisory skills, deep understanding of the competitive landscape and unparalleled knowledge of Accenture offerings to create win/win solutions for our clients and Accenture. Sales understanding and financial acumen allow them to empower our clients with creative solutions and advocate Accenture offerings within the market and our business.

In summary you are a Cloud evangelist at heart. You have been at the forefront of Cloud adoption, advising internal or external clients on their approach to cloud adoption. You have a broad-based understanding of Cloud with a solid understanding of the infrastructure elements of Cloud (IaaS and PaaS). You also possess a solid understanding of how clients move workloads to the Cloud encompassing elements such as lift and shift, app modernization, containerization etc.

The Work

  • Go deep to get the lay of the land of the industry and technology infrastructure that clients operate in to grasp clients’ technology options in the context of global, industry, economic, technology, and social trends.

  • Help your team pinpoint the right data-driven Cloud technology strategy solutions to meet the needs of clients and help draw up practical implementation road maps that position clients for long-term success.

  • Apply strong analytical skills to dig deep into research and large data sets to identify where clients can leverage IT for greatest strategic impact to drive business outcomes.

  • Use data models and visualization to bring your analysis to life.

  • Build relationships with clients to maintain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.

  • Keep deepening your prowess in cloud strategy to reinforce Accenture’s reputation as a thought leader

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of cloud consulting experience at a consulting firm or as a consultant to internal business units within your organization

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the example offerings (Business Agility, Cloud Architecture, Hybrid Infrastructure or Application Migration/Modernization)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT/cloud transformation

  • Minimum of 3 years of Project Management and planning technical requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience within IT

Preferred Qualifications

  • You perform as a long-term trusted advisor and partner by providing Thought Leadership and  profound knowledge of market trends in regards to Cloud

  • You have a strong understanding of a specific industry, client or technology and function as expert to advise senior leadership.

  • You can lead projects that deliver world-class solutions and make sure  clients are positioned for long term success creating practical roadmaps.

  • You can manage budgeting and forecasting activities and build financial proposals.

  • You have managed end-to-end projects and have reported and escalated to top levels.

  • You can create expert content and take part in professional forums.

  • You have shown critical thinking, ability to question decisions and provide creative solutions.

  • You build trusted relationships with senior leaders

  • You can mentor junior members of the team, guide them and groom them for more responsibility.

  • You have strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • You can provide junior team members with an integrated perspective of the client and project

  • You possess a cloud certification from one of the Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure or GCP). Oracle, IBM, etc. will also be considered

  • Bonus point if have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
