Job Description
- (Internal Title-Project Management IV)
- Manage and implement the assigned projects from inception through to completion
- Lead significant parts of the Line Wide Systems works primarily focused on the fit out the new tunnels and emergency access buildings on a Subway Extension project
- Manage a team of client staff, consultants and contractors to deliver the Testing and Commissioning workstream
- Lead significant parts of the Line Wide Systems works primarily focused on the fit out the new tunnels, station and emergency access buildings
- Drive integration of systems across the project, and coordinate with the Testing and Commissioning teams
- Ensure the Contractor’s Systems Works processes are aligned with system assurance, operational readiness, and safety case requirements
- Work closely with the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) to review safety-related test results and certification readiness
- Ensure the Contractor’s schedule is properly phased with construction completion and system installation
- Manage stakeholders and the Contractors tunnel fit out works
- Oversee ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution, and manage internal quality control checks for the project
- Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle

Qualifications
- Experience:
-
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in delivering Systems large scale rapid transit projects including ideally tunnel fit out experience
- Project management experience on large scale rapid transit projects
- Experience working with a large team of technical professionals and large-scale contractors
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Systems works related to rapid transit projects
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing the competing objectives of many external and internal stakeholders
- Effectively leads multi-resource Project Management teams, including municipalities and third‐party utility provider
- Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods
- Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Project Management software
- Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
- Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
