Job Description
- (Internal Title-Consulting II)
- Internal Perform day-to-day project-specific tasks and duties such as sub-vendor and client relations, operational and commercial management, issues resolution and risk mitigation, budget oversight, resource planning and management, strategic planning, and process improvement as planned and identified for the project
- Familiarize self with the terms and conditions of active contracts and perform negotiations when required
- Plan for and execute appropriate means and methods in commercial management
- Capture and coordinate monthly timesheets, collect from JV partners, submit to the client, and address comments
- Actively work with sub-vendors, establish communication channels, and address, and resolve or escalate issues
- Develop change requests and sub-vendor agreements, oversee approved changes
- Document and track unresolved sub-vendor issues for higher-level discussions
- Manage client requests and resolve commercial issues related to change requests, amendments, etc
- Track budgets for work requests and ensure proper processes are followed and approvals are obtained
- Support the preparation of monthly Consultant Staff List (CSL) and weekly resourcing
- Monitor and report on the performance of the joint venture to senior leadership
- Develop regular progress reports and tools to track progress and key milestones
- Review and escalate requests from tenants for approval
- Oversee budgeting for work requests from tenants and client leads, ensuring proper processes and approvals
- Prepare monthly Consultant Staff List (CSL) and weekly resourcing
- Ensure rates in CSLs are up to date and any changes are identified with partners' agreements
- Strategically manage resource allocation for partners, considering potential risks and strategic planning for essential resource submissions
- Oversee resource tracking and capacity planning
- Oversee and manage effective communication and collaboration between MCS and talent acquisition teams of each partner
- Oversee resource tracking and implement timely resourcing plans for various scopes of work
- Implement process improvements to streamline and expedite client approvals, collaborating with partners to ensure awareness of risks impacting the JV or the program
- Propose potential resources to the MCS leadership team, address questions and concerns, and liaise with MCS leads, managers, and Client contract administrators
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
- Perform day-to-day project-specific tasks and duties as planned and identified for the project
- Plan for and execute appropriate means and methods to complete the assigned tasks and duties on small projects or smaller project elements of mid to large-sized projects from inception through to completion
- Execute low-risk projects or low-risk elements of mid-sized to large-size projects

Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project consulting services in Business Admin, Finance, Contract Management or Accounting or a similar role
- Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Admin, Finance, or Accounting
- Licenses OR Certifications:
- Certified in recognized certification or certificate of training in Business Admin, Finance, Contract Admin, or Accounting
- Skills and Competencies:
- Experience working in a fast-paced organization
- Experience with contract management and project cost analysis
- Commercially savvy and business-minded
- Experience working in a high-pressure tight deadline deliverable
- Experience working with executives and comfortable with receiving and giving feedback
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in other consulting-related software applicable
- In-depth understanding of prevailing consulting means and methods
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
