Job Description: 


Our React Developers are experienced engineers eager to stay on the bleeding-edge of the front-end development market across a broad spectrum of industries. You thrive on bringing web projects to life with clients, from concept to implementation. Your guidance and input drives architecture and functionality decisions. Whether you prefer providing mentorship to junior engineers or acting as a technical sounding board for all, this role invites seasoned engineers to exercise their deep expertise. 

 

The Work:  

  • Partner closely with clients to define their application requirements and understand client success metrics 
  • Work closely on a cross functional team with other roles such as Project Managers, Designers, QA, etc 
  • Lead web projects from concept to implementation, including weighing in on key architectural decisions 
  • Leverage experience developing software and managing teams of developers to execute on web development projects of various sizes 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members OR act as a subject matter expert (SME) in a particular technology 
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum SDLC  
  • Lead code and architecture reviews 




Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in JavaScript based web development in a team environment 
  • 1+ years of experience with MERN stack / React front-end development 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar area, or equivalent (minimum of 12 years of experience) 

 

Set Yourself Apart: 

  • Experience with Node.js preferred 
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript including ES2017 
  • GitHub account or code samples to share 
  • Enjoy working a wide variety of projects, both short and long-term 
  • Familiar with all phases of software lifecycle, working in Agile  
  • Experience with test-driven development a plus 
  • Familiarity with both version control (git) and one or more cloud hosting providers (e.g. Heroku) are good-to-haves 
  • Familiarity with CSS, HTML, jQuery a plus
