Job Description

As an integral part of the proposal team you will ensure the consistency of messaging and content across all volume/sections of proposals. Locate and leverage previous collateral from responses that can be re-used. Facilitate development of proposal sections across all volume authors and, when needed, own creation of a specific content area as well. Ensure content from subject matter experts creates a compelling story and meets all request for proposal (RFP) requirements.

You are:
Detailed oriented and capable of processing a lot of information quickly that speaks to financial, legal and technical aspects of a prospective project. Capable of driving collaboration at all levels and negotiating effectively and developing rapport with key client contacts.

The work:

Create a compelling story and meet RFP requirements
Develop a compliant proposal with a compelling story for a given opportunity, including all required responses to RFP (clarifications, proposal volumes, written, oral, demonstrations/site visits, etc.)
Maintain compliance with requirements, internal Accenture controls, external regulations (e.g., procurement process), and sales methodology

Facilitate development of compliant proposal sections across all volume authors
Work with solution delivery and sales teams in identification, analysis, solution development, developing business case, proposal preparation and presentation to client
Integrate content from proposal resources; work with details to illustrate compelling story and a winning proposal narrative (including management plans, staffing plans, past performance/experience, transition plans, quality initiatives and other areas) independently and through SME/solution architect interactions
Ensure that the solution framework is properly integrated, compliant, and tells a discriminating story in the final proposal
Write standard proposals by analyzing the proposal requests and customizing templates and interfacing effectively with sales and solutions team under standard guidelines
Act as a focal point for collection of information from various sources and participate in creating and maintaining a central document repository
Establish production schedule, prepare production-ready files and arrange and oversee proposal production (includes electronic and/or physical copies) in accordance with RFP instructions
Manage all proposal documents and the flow of information to and from proposal participants, including the proposal SharePoint site/MS Teams Site


Here’s what you need:
Minimum 2 years’ proposal and or sales focused writing experience, preferably in a large consulting firm environment
Bachelor’s Degree or diploma
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian  

Bonus points if you have:
Professional writing experience
Experience working in a deadline driven environment with strong attention to detail
Storytelling, copywriting, and or journalism experience 
Expert written and oral communication skills
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
Ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Experience working with research teams
Experience interviewing subject matter experts
