As a Network Specialist you will plan, design, stage, and configure wireless access points, switches, and Wireless controllers, and will provide escalation for monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the network. Implement scalable, high performance solutions that meet the need of today’s corporate and digital applications using cloud infrastructure technologies & software defined infrastructure. Deliver legacy infrastructure transformation (including operating model) & migration to drive next-generation  outcomes. 
  • Manages data and voice networks: voice and data VLANs, WAN data circuits, remote access, all WAN and LAN network hardware including routers, switches and all network based firewalls.
  • Configures, maintains, and monitors Cisco wireless networks and ensures optimal network performance
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • 3-5 years of Experience with Cisco NX-OS, and IOS-XE (PANOS a Plus)
  • 3-5 years of Experience with network virtualization technologies (i.e. VDC, VRF-lite, security contexts)
  • 3-5 years of Experience with Firewall configuration and maintenance
  • Security centric with experience in crypto technologies (IKE, IPSEC, SSL)
  • A strong understanding of the OSI network model and TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc
  • Working knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, BGP a big plus)
  • WAN Optimization (Silver-peak)
  • Responsible for assisting in the troubleshooting of internal telephony systems: network path traversal, routing, NAT, and VLAN.
  • Working knowledge and experience with SD WAN deployment, configuration and MPLS integration.
  • CCNA certification required, CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
  • Experience in network security systems and relevant certifications are preferred
  • MCSE, MCP, ITIL certifications preferred
  • Cisco/Palo Alto Networks Firewall Experience
  • Silver-Peak Experience (Wan Optimization and SDWAN)
  • Experience with BGP
  • Experience with QoS
  • Experience with F5 Load-Balancers
  • DHCP, DNS management (Infoblox)
  • Python Scripting
  • General Automation
  • Project management experience (3 years) – Creation of project plans, resource planning, identifying and documenting risks
  • Eligible for Security Clearance (reside in Canada for the past five years)
