WORK YOU’LL DO
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to build alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  •  Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
  •  May collaborate with peers and/or management levels externally and/or within Accenture. Resolves issues on assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in all aspects of E-Business system administration including installation, configuration, product upgrades, capacity planning, backup, and recovery.
  • Monitor, performance tune and enhance functionality of E-Business and other Oracle Systems (i.e. OEM, RMAN, Data Guard).
  • Continuously look for opportunities to automate maintenance, deployment and monitoring of Oracle infrastructure services and systems.
  • Provide technical support to EBS Operations.
  • Install and maintain SSO on multi-tier environment.
  • Maintain, improve Oracle infrastructure cloning, patching processes and procedures
  • Support and enhance High Availability Architecture and disaster recovery operations, policies, and procedures. Flexibility and skill in dealing with others is a must.  We must often work directly with users, teammates and representatives of other 3rd party support. Adapts existing methods and procedures to build alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Troubleshoot/network and support the application (any combination).
  • Create and maintain logical and physical database design.
  • Backup and Recovery using third-party tools, and RMAN and DataPump.
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to build alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Work and coordinate work with different IT groups (i.e. Network, Server, WAN teams).
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as supporting Oracle E-Business R12in a Unix/Linux/Windows environment.
  • Extensive EBS patch analysis, performance tuning and application experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with RMAN and Data Guard is required.
  • Experience with Oracle Database 11g and 12c administration.
  • Experience in Oracle database and SQL performance tuning.
  •  Experience performing Production support and/or mission critical support.
  • Working knowledge of distributed, HA, and mission critical databases.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Patch planning and application.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux and/or Windows Shell scripting, job automation using shell scripts and/or Perl scripting.
  • Experience in Capacity Analysis & Planning.
  • Ability to work off hours, call support for clients across different time zones according to client needs.
  • To be able to independently lead client facing workshops
  • Ability to configure the test and production environments to meet the requirements of the client
  • Draft, review, and complete functional designs for custom objects and effectively knowledge transfer to an offshore technical team to build the object.  Provide insight and a functional testing of the custom object.
  • Must be able to create test scenarios, write test scripts, and execute tests in the PTP space
