Engagement Lead
Location: Toronto, 40 King Street

Overview
The Canada Innovation Hub is a place to house our diverse talent to effectively collaborate with our clients on their biggest innovative opportunities. It will connect and leverage our ecosystems and offerings while utilizing FORM to enhance the way we sell and deliver. The Engagement Lead is responsible for mobilizing best of Accenture and ecosystem to execute innovation engagement from intake through delivery and transition. Extensive background in establishing and building client relationships and understands their pain points and organizational challenges. Partners with Innovation and Experience Leads on the co-creation of client engagements and drives flawless execution and delivery of projects. Is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition into and out of the Hub experience.

Responsibilities
  • Use extensive network to pull relevant SMAs and ecosystem partners into client engagements
  • Partner with Client Account Teams to understand client’s pain points, organizational challenges and opportunities to develop tailored plan to deliver impactful engagements
  • Manage Hub capacity and schedule; responsible for the overall cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams executing client engagements
  • Work with Account Team and broader Accenture to seamlessly transition commercially viable pilots to scale through our delivery engines
  • Support Account Teams in building a pipeline of work from innovation engagements to actionable opportunities for account growth
  • Be the translator between strategic account planning and innovation opportunities, bringing the best of Accenture to our clients
  • Responsible for Hub’s ‘black book’ of delivery tools, methodologies, and best practices; curates and shares lessons learned after each engagement
  • Responsible for people development of the Hub team and fostering an innovative and creative atmosphere
  • Continuously educate and look for ways to improve processes and operational activities
Skills & capabilities:
  • Exceptional executive presence, storyteller, and ability to influence at C-suite level, internally and externally
  • Outstanding leader and people developer, with proven ability to manage, motivate and empower cross-disciplinary teams
  • Core client-facing management consulting skills
  • Design-led thinking, facilitation and strategic problem-solver
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
Preferred Background: 
  • 8-10+ years of experience in strategic management consulting and/or design/innovation consulting
  • Strong network, with understanding of relevant experts in key areas
  • At the forefront of disruptive industry / functional trends; significant experience “in the New”; naturally curious about exploring the cutting edge of priority specialty
