Job Description

Functional & Industry Knowledge

  • Capture business requirements and help shape the data, technology, process and people capabilities required to sustain analytics offerings
    • Work with client stakeholders to identify business issues
    • Translate business issues into specific requirements to develop the analytics solutions
    • Ensure successful deployment and adoption of solution at clients
  • Lead client engagements focused on Op model development, business case development and other important analytics activities such as pricing analytics, customer analytics, performance management, etc.
  • Lead major insights projects within large analytics engagements
    • Develop high quality deliverables; lead project team(s) in deliverable development; apply Accenture standard methods for performing strategy assessments and implementations; work closely with leadership to set strategy and define success criteria for any project
  • Leverage industry knowledge that is shaped by analytics exposure through prior experiences

Quantitative Ability

  • Lead Offering Development in an effort to help take capability to the market, position against client problems, and feed industry issues and offering needs into the offering development
    • Shape analytics strategy and offerings
    • Lead development of thought leadership: publishable content, white papers
    • Develop delivery and sales assets which support analytics offerings
  • Partner with client teams to understand business problems and strategies
    • Help clients define a future state strategy and supporting business case for the implementation of analytics
    • Track and analyze key success metrics to ensure team is delivering desired impact
    • Track, monitor and analyze spend and achieved benefits from project
    • Interpret the results of the analytical insights and communicate the results to the client in a business context to drive value
    • Support clients who seek to develop their predictive capabilities and integrate the business value of predictive analytics into the fabric of business decision-making
  • Understand where advanced data techniques can be applied to solve client problems (machine learning, optimization, data mining, etc.) at client efforts bringing to bear:
    • Knowledge of big data platforms, tools and applications
    • Data management skills
    • Understand analytics techniques and application of services

Client Delivery and Development

  • Ability to understand client needs, develop proposed solutions and deliver high impact change initiatives
  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of our clients’ strategic/organizational objectives.
  • Manages teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) as part of a client project team; responsible for creating detailed project work plans, managing activities and deliverables against plan, reviewing draft output, and providing feedback/coaching to project team members
  • Interaction with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves presenting analysis and recommendations, facilitating workshops, and negotiating or influencing on significant matters
  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
  • Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA or Advanced Degree
  • Experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, transformation
  • Experience leading large teams to deliver new business
  • Enterprise Data Architecture experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and team lead experience
  • Experience in the following layers: Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Security Architecture, Information Architecture, and Technology Architecture
