Job Description
 
The Rewards Manager supports a line of business in designing, building, implementing and communicating policies, programs and initiatives aligned to the HR strategy and business goals for their business. This position develops and applies global guidelines, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies for the rewards function and ensures they are relevant, competitive and affordable. The Rewards Manager delivers and maintains the local and global policy and operational guidelines on compensation programs and ensures Accenture's compensation programs are competitive and linked to Accenture's Total Rewards strategy.
  • Act as a day-to-day compensation interface for the assigned business including Business Leadership, HR Business Partner, Director of Operations, Director of Finance, nd other executives in assigned areas(s)
  • Responsible for effective delivery of end-to-end Compensation activities within North America in assigned area(s)
  • Implement Total rewards processes, policies, programs in alignment with Business and HR strategy
  • Help develop and apply North America and Global guidelines, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies (contributing requirements, ideas and resources)
  • Serve as subject matter expert, applying comprehensive knowledge of one or more HR processes and associated tools and maintain expert knowledge by researching best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraised of technological advancements and conducting benchmark comparisons
  • Ensure market data analysis and recommendations are aligned with compensation strategy and direction for North America
  • Ensure Accenture’s compensation spend is optimized to high performers and business critical skills
  • Ensure our compensation programs and recommended spend across those programs are market relevant and affordable
  • Monitor Accenture's compensation programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards for the US and Canada
  • Accountable for the operational management, implementation and continuous operation of North America Compensation programs & projects
  • Support Compensation Lead and Total Rewards lead in various programs and initiatives in the total rewards area
  • Establish and build relationships with multiple internal/external customers
Job Requirements
  • Minimal Travel required (less than 10%)

 


 

 

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A Minimum of 10 years experience in the area of compensation design and implementation
  • Experience in a Consulting or Technology business preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in third party management
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Advanced data analytics and interpretation of data
  • Experience with HR tools and Systems, particularly SAP
  • Experience with compliance.  Execute policies and procedures to maintain compliance to internal and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to assess complex business objectives, diagnose problems and respond to high priority issues
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.  Ability to build relationships with key customers and interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Benchmarking:  Lead incentive compensation team to perform ad-hoc reports and analysis to address internal and external equity of plan design and earnings opportunities.
  • Design and deliver employee communication and training relating to compensation programs, guidelines, budgets and processes
  • Provides advice to HR and business leaders on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation.
 
 
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex reports and data sets
  • Ability to direct and influence difficult and emotional, conversations in a productive manner
  • Possess a strong executive presence
  • Ability to effectively plan, direct and manage complex, time sensitive compensation processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Access
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
