'Application Developer will be a key member of a large (50+ member) internal development team responsible for providing a stable technical environment for Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self Service and Pension Administration modules. Also developer will be responsible for designing and authoring business rules and must have strong technical knowledge with ability to interpret program policy and procedures and turn them into a logically structured set of OPA business rules .The developer should have strong PeopleSoft  Integration  experience with various third parties like OPA, Salesforce, Livelink using Web services, SOAP, REST etc.

  

Job Description: 

 

Technology professionals implement and lead highly complex technology projects.  Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive high performance.  These professionals may build, test, install, and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries, working with a variety of enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom-built applications, and they are involved in a wide range of challenging global technology projects. Responsibilities are; Language acceptance testing and normalization lead for Cisco commerce quarterly releases;  Ensuring Cisco commerce workspace is complaint to 16 languages; Lead moralization activities post go-live until the production support can be handed over to ITDS team.

Basic Qualifications:

 

Minimum 3 years of Testing Experience; Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following testing toolsets; HP Suite (Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, BPT), IBM Rational Suite (Quality Manager, Functional Tester, Clear Quest, Clear Case), Micro Focus Suite (Silk Test), Selenium; Hands on experience with Test Execution and Project Management.

  

Preferred Skills:

  • Degree in computer science or comparable
  • 5 years of experience in functional and non-functional Testing and Test Management and Leading a teams with a size of up to 30+ people (30 offshore/10 onshore)
  • 3-4 years of Project Management
  • +3 years of experience in web service testing
  • +3 years of experience with following tools:
  • HP Suite (Application Lifecycle Management, Quality Center, Quick Test Pro)
  • IBM Rational Suite (Quality Manager, Functional Tester, Clear Quest)
  • XML tools (e. g. SOAP UI)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)

 Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact with internal management team and external client contacts using strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian 
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Salary: 74,700 - 109,990 CAD

 

Employee will be eligible for pay increases due to pay review that are consistent with company and market standards
