'Application Developer will be a key member of a large (50+ member) internal development team responsible for providing a stable technical environment for Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self Service and Pension Administration modules. Also developer will be responsible for designing and authoring business rules and must have strong technical knowledge with ability to interpret program policy and procedures and turn them into a logically structured set of OPA business rules .The developer should have strong PeopleSoft  Integration  experience with various third parties like OPA, Salesforce, Livelink using Web services, SOAP, REST etc.

  

Job Description: 

 

 

'Serves as Siebel Order Management application SME(Subject Matter Expert) with overall 5+ years of IT experience in large IT/Telecom organization to work on data migration and de-duplication efforts, that also includes identifying/analyzing and gathering document requirements from different CRM/Order Management and legacy vendors and providing direction to the Siebel application development and Product support teams.

To Design, Configure, Implement and Upgrade complex, new data migration  solutions into existing Siebel EOM application as Siebel EIM SME/Architect. Adapt to existing Complex Business rules and functionalities to enhance and provide alternative optimal solution without impacting the integration with other legacy/Billing systems.

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ Years of Experience in large IT/Telecom organization on Complex data migration using Siebel EIM.
  • Extensive knowledge of Data migration tools and techniques including Siebel EIM, PL/SQL, ETL tools(Informatica), performance tuning.
  • Good experience in developing Siebel EIM jobs to Import, Update, Delete and Merge in Windows/Unix environment.
  • Exposure to Siebel Business service and Workflow for Custom Mass update.
  • Query Optimization and troubleshooting Data migration Issues.
  • Working knowledge of Siebel Product and Pricing modules and Order Management.
  • High level understanding of  Siebel Data model and other internal Legacy systems like Billing, CRM, Order Management to normalize large data sets and create mapping.
  • Understand technology stack, offerings, capabilities  and Integrations with external systems quickly to effectively use in design discussions.
  • Anticipate the complex business functionalities implemented in Siebel Order Management in telecom domain and assist business owners to optimize their process flow to improve productivity, and to ensure data quality is maintained.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

 Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Strong Pensions Industry Knowledge
  • Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PeopleTools and related technologies (SQRs, Application Engines, CI’s, PeopleCode, XML, etc.)
  • Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements
  • Develop new Pages/Reports/Interfaces
  • Write technical specifications
  • Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Integrate PeopleSoft applications with various third parties like Oracle Policy Automation, Salesforce, Livelink etc. using Web services, SOAP, REST services etc.
  • Train/Mentor less experienced resources
  • Developing and unit testing OPA rules
  • Working with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
  • Participating in code reviews and peer reviews.
  • Following good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.
  • Escalating issues to management as identified
  • Fixing defects identified in testing

Salary: 70,000.00 CAD - 74,100.00 CAD

 

Employee will be eligible for pay increases due to pay review that are consistent with company and market standards
