Acquisitions and Corporate Advisory (ACA) is part of our Corporate Services. Our Acquisitions team provide expertise and accurate due diligence reviews to the M&A leads to match the type of business or company being acquired, such as its risk profile, customer base, and product lines, conducting synergies assessment by deal type (channel, scope, scale, technology) to ensure value is not lost during the integration. Additionally, the Corporate Support teams have a broad view into overall corporate operations to collaborate in key corporate areas such as (i) Corporate matters, (ii) E-Discovery, (iii) Litigation, (iv) Contract Documentation Alignment Team (CDAT), (v) Government Relations and (vi) Legal Cyber Review Team (LCRT).
As other corporate functions, ACA is also already focusing on technology disruption. The “three A’s” (automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics) are just a few technology disruptors that will likely shape the function in the near future.
LCRT is in charge of handling security incident from a legal perspective. Our job is to make sure the contract and relationship with our clients is respected in terms of requirements related to security incidents, data breaches and further threats /attacks.

- Requires analysis and solving of moderately complex problems. May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
- Requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
- Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

- Requires guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.

Scope
- Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Cyber Review Team with contractual and statutory assessment of the cyber/ security incidents for Accenture and for Accenture clients’ globally.
- Require analysis and solving of moderately complex problems. May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
- Require guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Assignment of incidents during time zone.
- Reporting to Cyber Legal Leadership with metrics.
- Responsible to organize Leadership/team weekly calls.
- Responsible to organize ASOC/Cyber Legal biweekly calls.
- Process improvement: constantly check material, trainings, possible improvements to discuss with Leadership.
- Team exposure, provide trainings, post in circles and newsletter.
- Ensure the required remedial and/ or mitigation actions were taken and recommend appropriate remedial and/ or mitigation actions if not.
- Be involved with the Legal Cyber Review team’s process improvements initiatives and handle the complex matters for the team.
- Maintain incident tracker and an up-to-date Microsoft Teams Site with updated documents.
- Record accurately and regularly the details of the incidents handled on a real time basis.
- Present on status calls with internal clients and manage status reports and tracker and assigns incidents to the team.
- Management of small teams or work efforts.
- Understand relevant company policies and exercises reasonable judgment to apply company policy and procedure in risk mitigation and timely escalates to line manager with issues.

- Team members providing services on a project, account or portfolio of accounts.
External Relationships
Client commercial, procurement, contract management, business executives, outside counsels, vendors, corporate functions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
LCRT’ Knowledge and Experience
- Preferably 6 years’ + of experience at law firm and/or as in-house counsel and experience in coordinating a group of work.
- Understand general basic corporate business practices and contracting regulations.
- Good understanding of contractual principles required for review and assessment of contractual arrangements.
- Understand relevant company policies and exercises reasonable judgment to apply company policy and procedure in risk mitigation and timely escalates to line manager with issues.
- Ability to effectively communicate with executives at all levels of the organization.
- Good time-management, prioritization, organizational and analytical skills.
- Displays a high level of responsiveness and follows through on commitments.
- Detail-oriented, sound judgement, organized, and flexible.
- Demonstrates a specialized subject-matter experience
