We partner with Legal teams across Accenture to build efficiencies and centres of excellence related to Legal services; and through our size, geographic spread and language diversity, the Global Legal Network is able to drive quality, agility and speed in our services, aligned to Accenture’s relentless focus on maximum efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Role Summary:

As GLN/GSL legal counsel you’ll be providing legal support to Accenture’s Infrastructure Engineering practice which designs, builds and manages a modern cloud-based IT infrastructure including Networks and Intelligent Edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Support for the Infrastructure Engineering business team in conducting assessments of new service and product offerings and preparing those offerings for market.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Legal and Quality & Risk to identify legal and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently manage day-to-day contracting, including developing contracting templates, guidance and providing subject matter expert (SME) support to deal teams.
• Supporting Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions Legal team and business leadership in the evaluation of prospective acquisition targets related to the Infrastructure Engineering practice and development and implementation of post-merger integration strategy.

Qualifications:
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years  of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, ideally advising on technology transactions.
• Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings/solutions, including with respect to technology (e.g. Cloud & Edge computing, telecommunications/network services).
• Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders.
• Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings, including cloud infrastructure engineering/managed services, network services, edge computing.
