Overview of North America (NA) Marketing + Communications 
The North America Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates marketing and communications strategies across the marketing lifecycle that fuel growth for Accenture’s $20B+ North American market (United States and Canada).  Its cross-functional team drives category brand positioning in the North American market, curates end-to-end client experiences to drive the local growth agenda, empowers and positions Accenture’s leaders, and engages and inspires the company’s North American people, recruits and alumni. It positions Accenture in the heart of local innovation, business and technology communities and champions programs for equality, inclusion and diversity within Accenture North America and the communities it serves. 

As a Team:
As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture North America execute its strategic priorities and projects. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative communications experts who focus on activating and engaging Accenture people around company priorities and strategy.

As a content lead you will oversee marketing content strategy and initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and positive customer behavior and act as an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and measurement.

As part of the North America marketing team, you’ll work on a variety of projects and initiatives, leading the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive commercial impact metrics.

Responsibilities include:
STRATEGY: Shape, create and execute NA content strategies and plans. Provide advisory and counsel on strategic content to Accenture and Marketing + Communication senior leadership, sponsors, project leads, peers and multi-level team members who form the teams for Accenture’s NA strategic priorities and programs.

PLANNING: Develop content campaign strategy that ensure timely and high-quality asset production and delivery for targeted launch programs. Ensure output is aligned to Accenture’s overall mission and branding goals. 

TEAMING: Manage, develop and motivate the North America content team to work simultaneously across strategic priorities, programs, and content campaigns. Lead multi-disciplined, agile teams to create, develop and execute the agreed content strategy and plan.

CO-CREATING: Work with executive-level subject matter experts, marketers, researchers and external writers to create/package content and marketing materials for both internal and external audiences. Team with our North America marketing leads to design marketing support materials.

IMPLEMENTING: Work with the North America campaign team to take the content and thought leadership to market. Coordinate all elements of comprehensive internal and external content, with minimal counsel, direction and input from their supervisor.

MEASURING: Work with North America marketing colleagues to manage content and campaign programs in brandmaker and reporting metrics for content campaigns.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or other four-year university degree or equivalent in marketing, public relations or communications

- Preferably, Marketing and Communications Masters degree

- Fluent English

Work Experience: Strong experience in content marketing and/or communications both globally and locally, campaign development and management, along with a global-local perspective; strong business and industry acumen and a solid understanding of Accenture’s business.

Basic Qualifications
- Significant experience in developing strategic content and communications plans: specific channels/tools/digital environment, metrics.
- Our ideal candidate will have experience with thought leadership and content marketing programs. We are looking for an experienced candidate to drive content marketing campaigns.
- Content creation (long and short form), relationship building, people management, project management, storytelling, data fluency. Ability to lead and inspire teams of creative and content creators to achieve
company's impact goals.
- Significant marketing and communications experience with a track record for high performance. Exceptional professionalism, integrity and self-confidence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet collaborate and integrate appropriately with other marketing & communications teams at Accenture and other areas across the company.
- Senior stakeholder management capability and ability to manage and build relationships, negotiate and influence colleagues within Accenture's large, matrixed organization. 
- Superior writing and editing skills, especially around key messages, strategic comms, talking points, digital style (short and sweet; headlines focused on message; informal, social style), content curation, storytelling (in general; for pages/slides/scripts).
- Ability to develop creative (core idea/content emphasis, creative brief, imagery), aligned to latest iconic thought leadership, brand strategy and campaigns.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills with experience in overseeing the large-scale content, design and production of publications and digital materials.
- Expert in defining and managing process for content and communications strategy and development. Adjusting strategy, plan, content and comms as a result of data analysis.
- Deep knowledge of core marketing and communications essentials, including content and communication strategy and planning, audience analysis, message development, vehicles and channels, and measurement tactics.
- Strong organizational, project and team management skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing a team of marketing and content professionals, including contractors and third-party vendors.
