As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the solutions fit the intended purpose, and continuously refining the applications to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. Your role is pivotal in transforming business needs into functional software components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the operational environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software customization.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve existing applications to enhance user experience and system reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and application configuration.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues.
- Ability to customize and extend SAP modules to meet unique business requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration processes within SAP environments.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
