Job Description
Lead PLM functional design through design workshops and industry benchmarking that will enable digital R&D/Supply Chain capabilities supporting Client’s Product Lifecycle Management business processes Provide expertise in PLM functional areas of Specification Management, Integrated Product Change Control, Document Management, Regulatory Compliance, Packaging Management, BOM Synchronization, and Supplier Collaboration Ensuring the PLM design is consistent with industry best practices and eliminate unnecessary development objects as appropriate Define User Stories/Requirements and prioritization Determining the Definition of Ready for work items to be slotted into a Sprint Estimating all user stories/requirements Committing to Sprint delivery based on the Definition of Done (DoD) criteria defined per agile phase Provide input for user story/requirement acceptance criteria Translate User Stories/requirement into the “HOW” by helping to create Functional/Technical specifications Build working software (configuration) Decomposing User Stories/Requirements into actionable tasks and estimating associated effort Reporting daily status & impediments Maintaining story boards, task boards, and accuracy in remaining work Create test scripts and test data Participate in demos to show working software to client Product Owner Participate in Feature Integration testing, verifying delivered User Stories/Requirements against Sprint/Increment goals
Weekly travel to client location required.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in functional design of enterprise systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in driving and maintaining solution capability and functional, preferably focused on Product Lifecycle Management and enablement.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience managing projects and client development Demonstrated deep experience functional design of enterprise systems.
  • Strong Life Science and Pharma process understanding (product lifecycle management domain), system architecture skills with analytical thinking for problem solving.
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifcations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and a technical audience.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively as a team across global hubs, and maintain a highly collaborative, transparent effort.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with and through others to achieve shared goals. Knowledge and experience with SAP PLM
  • Must be able to develop and articulate a plan of action for a functional design Experience working with and managing partners/suppliers, consultants and/or contractors.
