Andrea Brueckner is Accenture's client account lead, responsible for building and growing relationships with the world's leading companies operating in Europe to drive client value and co-innovation. She is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.
Andrea is also the senior client account lead for one of the world’s leading life sciences companies. She previously led Accenture's life sciences industry group, with responsibility for growing and developing the practice in Europe and Latin America.
Prior to Accenture, Andrea worked in the healthcare practice of a leading strategy consulting firm in Switzerland and in the United States. Before joining consulting, she gained industry experience during a tenure with Boehringer Mannheim/Roche in the United Kingdom and Germany, as a business analyst responsible for strategic planning for consumer health care and biochemicals.
Andrea has more than 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry. One of her deepest areas of expertise is advising life sciences companies at the intersection of medical, technology and data sciences to transform the way treatments are discovered, developed and delivered—and to ultimately improve patient care.
She has worked with numerous clients on topics such as digital platforms and health solutions, multi-channel and digital enablement as well as marketing and sales optimization. In addition, she has extensive experience in various projects concerning corporate and business unit strategy development, large-scale transformation and process optimization.
Andrea joined Accenture in 2000 and became a managing director in 2006. She studied business administration and attended graduate courses in marketing and sales at Harvard Extension School. She has authored several articles and held speeches on life sciences related topics.
