SAP Maintenance Functional Consultant - Order Management

The SAP Maintenance Functional Level 2 Engineer for Order Management is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP Order Management processes. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing SAP functionalities to ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment. The position demands a deep understanding of SAP SD and related modules, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for SAP Order Management processes addressing and resolving incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with Level 1, Level 3 support and cross-functional teams to ensure resolution of complex issues and successful project delivery
- Configure and customize SAP SD module to meet business requirements related to order management, including order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery.
- Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
- Work with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions
- Analyze current order management processes and recommend improvements.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing expertise in order management processes .
- Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data within the SAP system
Qualifications
Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP SD, with at least 2 years in a support or maintenance role.
- Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization, including order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery.
- Strong understanding of order management processes and related business functions.
- Experience with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, PP).
- Basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging
