The SAP Maintenance Functional Consultant for Billing & Settlement is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP Billing and Settlement processes. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing SAP functionalities to ensure accurate and efficient billing and settlement operations. The position demands a deep understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) modules, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for SAP Billing and Settlement processes, addressing and resolving incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with Level 1 support and other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Configure and customize SAP SD and FI-CA modules to meet business requirements related to billing and settlement.
- Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
- Work with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions.
- Analyze current billing and settlement processes and recommend improvements.
- Implement best practices and standard procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members.
- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing expertise in billing and settlement processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive billing and settlement data within the SAP system.
Qualifications
Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP SD and/or FI-CA modules, with at least 2 years in a support or maintenance role.
- Proficiency in SAP SD (Billing, Pricing, Order Management) and/or FI-CA configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of billing and settlement processes.
- Experience with integration points between SAP SD, FI-CA, and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI).
- Basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debuggig
