Our Bulgarian Technology team is currently implementing complex global projects in a vast portfolio of industries – e-commerce, retail, insurance, banking, telecommunications, automotive, public sector, travel, and culture.

Accenture Bulgaria is looking for Regular Java Developers to join our teams in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Ruse, or Burgas.

As a Java Developer, who has 3+ years of experience in web development, you will be part of a team that is working with a variety of technologies depending on the business needs. This will give you many opportunities to expand your knowledge across different domains.

To keep it short, below are three key responsibilities:

  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging

  • Ensure that your code meets software development and quality standards and fits into the continuous release process

  • Identifying production and non-production application issues

Qualifications

Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:

  • Java & J2EE experience (servlet containers, web application servers, etc.)

  • Web services and technologies: REST, JSON, XML, HTTP, Spring

  • Any popular RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL

  • Understanding of software patterns, software design, and development methodologies

  • Code version control systems, e.g. GIT

  • Build tools, e.g. Gradle, Maven, Ant

  • CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, Nexus

  • Unit testing tools, e.g. Junit, Mockito, PowerMockito

  • UNIX/Linux experience

  • ORM frameworks, e.g. Hibernate

  • Flexibility in using different technologies/ platforms

  • Ability to shift gears quickly and cope with change

  • Analytical & Detail Oriented

  • Confident, proactive, and self-motivated

  • Disciplined and “Team first approach” oriented
