Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of the organization and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications align with business goals, while continuously refining and enhancing the software to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development and deployment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application configurations and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Experience with application design and configuration within regulated environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex application challenges.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in application deployment.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Veeva Vault.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
