Rich is a senior managing director responsible for Accenture’s global healthcare business. Rich is tasked with developing and driving a growth strategy that distinguishes Accenture’s offerings for providers, payers, and public and private health systems around the world. He also leads COVID-19 efforts on behalf of healthcare clients, helping to bring forth resilient health ecosystems that empower humans to be safe, secure, and confident.
He brings more than two decades of leadership experience to Accenture Health. Rich is a recognized industry expert with substantial experience helping clients deliver significant cost improvements, improve productivity, and adapt to new industry requirements. He oversees a team of over 20,000 professionals that operate at the intersection of business and technology by combining real-world experience, business and clinical insights, and innovative technologies to drive better health and economic outcomes.
Rich has published numerous papers and as a recognized industry spokesperson, he is often quoted on healthcare issues in various media publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and the New York Times. He is responsible for Accenture’s thought leadership that addresses timely topics and challenges facing the health industry.
He earned a master’s in Business Administration in Health Systems from the University of Connecticut.
He and his family reside in Minnesota.
