Based in Mumbai, Raghav Narsalay leads the Innovation and Risk Lab at Accenture Research. Raghav is also responsible for the research teams located in China and India. In collaboration with researchers from reputed institutions such as Harvard Business School, INSPER, Lagos Business School and Purdue University, the Innovation and Risk Lab continues to drive new-to-market thought leadership in the space of open innovation, inclusive/frugal innovation, digital innovation as well as areas such as emerging market entry strategies, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
Raghav’s work stands published in tier-1 publications such as the Stanford Social Innovation Review and European Business Review. His research focusing on how companies can harness strengths of their various stakeholders to deliver commercially viable inclusive innovations won the prestigious “Special Mention for Pioneering Contribution” at the Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2013 Conference held at the University of Oxford. Raghav also extensively writes in leading Indian national dailies on innovation and digital strategy.
Adjudged by The Financial Express in 2006 as one of the youngest influential policy makers in the country, Raghav continues to work with a range of business and social stakeholders to build a more entrepreneur friendly innovation ecosystem.
He is a part of the Insurance Advisory Committee of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority and has also been a part of important sub-committees in the nation’s highest planning bodies.
Raghav holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in statistics and economics from the University of Mumbai. He completed his European masters in law and economics from Erasmus University. He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (Kolkata) from where he has completed is Executive Program in Business Analytics.
