Domingo Mirón is Accenture's group operating officer – Financial Services, responsible for executing the business strategy and driving operational excellence across the operating group, including financial reporting, human resources and performance priorities. He is a member of Accenture's global Operations Council.
Mr. Mirón joined Accenture in 1989 and has spent most of his career working with clients in the banking and insurance industries. Prior to his current role he led Accenture's Financial Services business in Spain, Portugal and Israel, helping clients adapt to changing regulations, the new digital ecosystem and an evolving customer profile.
He was senior managing director – Growth & Strategy on Accenture's global Financial Services leadership team from 2011 to 2014, and from 2009 to 2011 he led Accenture's Banking business in Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Mr. Mirón has played a key role in major projects for both Spanish and international financial services clients, spanning internationalization, process improvement and operating model design.
Mr. Mirón has a degree in Mathematics from Complutense University of Madrid and is a graduate of the Management Development Program at IESE Business School (University of Navarra). He is based in Madrid.
