The Payroll Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, collating, and processing Benefits data in cooperation with multiple   Accenture parties. Observe compliance with legal and organizational requirements for Belgian employees. This position involves working as a liaison between HR, payroll, and various business units to make the necessary inputs into the payroll system and meet the deadlines.

Payroll Closing process

  • Prepare and process monthly HR payroll closing reports, including coding payroll closing files received from the HR Operations team into Blox Payroll System
  • Manage the monthly order of meal vouchers, performing calculations during the payroll period and placing orders through Blox Payroll.
  • Oversee cash requests for both off-cycle and in-cycle payroll payments as needed.
  • Adhere to SOX process requirements, consulting the quality checklist to ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.

SOX – Internal Controls

A series of internal controls on the data entered throughout the payroll preparation process and at the various stages of the payroll closing process should be prepared and approved by the Payroll Manager. The payroll Operations Specialist / Senior Analyst must report to the payroll Operations Lead to inform when tasks have been processed.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in Dutch is a must
  • Thorough knowledge of Belgian payroll, social security, and labor law regulations
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (Eblox or similar), ProTime is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills for data validation, reporting, and auditing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of transactions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee data.
  • Adaptability to changing processes, deadlines, and legal requirements.
  • MS Office skills, proficient in Excel 

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to Payroll Manager or  Payroll Operations Lead.
  • Collaborates with HR teams (local and offshore), Finance, Business Units, and external vendors (e.g., SD Worx, EY).

Performance Indicators

  • Timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing and settlements.
  • Compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Quality of audits, reporting, and discrepancy resolutions.
  • Employee satisfaction with payroll administration.

This role is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to process improvements, constant monitoring of compliance standards, and readiness to support special projects or audits as needed.
