You are part of the team performing pre-study and / or design phase of the SAP program. You are an experienced SAP consultant with good knowledge of business function(s) who is curious about growing into Advisory.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of SAP programs and / or solutions, leveraging expertise in SAP modules as well as sound understanding / or knowledge of business function (example: you know what a maintenance technician does in the field every day or how does the day of consolidation accountant evolve).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives and recommend SAP solutions aligned with their needs.
- Assist in the development of SAP strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
- Support the SAP Advisory Manager in delivering high-quality advisory services, meeting project objectives and client expectations.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAP advisory services.
- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications
We believe that SAP Advisory Consultant possesses some of the below qualifications:
- SAP and non-SAP Expertise:
Strong expertise in SAP products and modules is essential. This may include SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, SAP BW/BI, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and all functional modules that come to mind. Candidates should have a deep understanding of SAP solutions, architecture, and integration points. With “non-SAP expertise” we mean first-hand knowledge and/or experience with industry solutions that typically integrate with SAP to provide the competitive edge to our clients (example: Anaplan, BlueYonder, O9,..)
- Consulting Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effectively engaging with clients, understanding their business requirements, and conveying SAP solutions and recommendations. Candidates should also possess strong presentation skills for delivering client-facing presentations and reports.
- Analytical Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for analyzing complex business requirements, identifying issues and challenges, and recommending innovative SAP solutions. Candidates should be able to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Project Management:
While not always required, experience with project management methodologies and tools can be beneficial. SAP Advisory Consultants often work within project teams and should be able to contribute effectively to project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Teamwork and Collaboration:
SAP Advisory Consultants often work as part of cross-skilled teams. Candidates should possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility:
The SAP landscape is continually evolving with new technologies, updates, and best practices. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the SAP ecosystem. The latter might require.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in SAP projects as business and functional consultant / internal
- Broad knowledge in Industry business area
- Master's degree successfully completed
- Effective communication in Dutch or French, and English
