We are looking for a talented Junior Functional Analyst with a strong background in Utilities to join our Technology Resources team.
Your responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, identify pain points, and propose optimized solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications that serve as a guide for developers and testers.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and successful delivery of solutions.
Testing and Validation: Collaborate with testing teams to define test scenarios, validate functionality, and ensure that the delivered solutions meet the specified requirements.
User Support and Training: Provide support to end-users during system implementations or enhancements, including user training, documentation, and addressing user queries.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in business processes.
Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills: Possess the ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
- Business Acumen: Understand the organization's industry, business model, and objectives to ensure that the proposed solutions align with strategic goals *** to build over time***
- Technical Aptitude: Have a solid understanding of technology concepts and systems to effectively communicate with IT teams and bridge the gap between business and technology.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively gather requirements, document specifications, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes, propose innovative solutions, and overcome challenges during the analysis and implementation phases.
