Azure/AWS Cloud Architects (Public Services)

Introduction

As part of our Belgian H&PS Technology practice, you’ll assess, shape and deliver enterprise wide Cloud solutions that help clients to launch products faster in the market, reduce complexity and costs, leverage modern solutions and tools.

The H&PS practice helps public sector organisations such as EU and Belgian governmental institutions to embrace innovation and transform fast, enabling them to operate smarter, achieve more and deliver improved services for citizens. H&PS is a community which performs both sales and delivery-related tasks for our business and our clients.

If you are excited to define and/or deliver modern Cloud architectures solutions based on the Microsoft Azure/AWS Cloud and the broader Microsoft technology stack, then you need to join us.

Your job

As a Cloud architect, you:

• Assess the current architecture, functional capabilities, application landscape, data sources and interfaces;

• Define modern and cloud-based enterprise architectures;

• Define Cloud migration strategies;

• Work with Azure/AWS technologies;

• Realize or lead proof of concepts;

• Estimate, plan and deliver modern solutions;

• Provide thought leadership and grow enterprise architecture skills and capabilities;

Within the team, your role will include the following additional responsibilities:

• Interacts with senior management levels at a client and within Accenture;

• Define approaches that provide structured solutions to complex technology strategy problems of clients, by recombining existing methodologies and teams;

• Be able to manage diverse teams on projects at clients, in both project supervisor as people manager role;

• Implement the business development and sales plan in the BeLux region.

Qualifications - External

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• At least 5 years of deep experience across systems integration, platforms, solution architecture;

• Excellent knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud Native technologies;

• Proficient experience in defining Cloud migrations;

• Experience in application modernization;

• Experience in architecting and building APIs and microservices;

• Experience in architecting and building event-driven solutions;

• Experience in architecting and building robust integrations;

• Ability to define an adequate Cloud architecture;

• Knowledge of Cloud security;

• Experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies;

• Exposure to management, directors and C-level;

• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
