A Client Account Lead is responsible for building trusted strategic partner relationships within one or more accounts by understanding client needs, shaping solutions, and bringing expertise and thought leadership to solve their most critical business issues. This role is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, expanding Accenture's footprint, ensuring profitable delivery and influencing the client's strategy to help drive high performance and continuous innovation.
Responsible for business development and performance for major clients in the Industrial/Life Sciences industry
Have a strong industry expertise, can discuss C-level agenda, and bring industry insights and intelligence
Be the Strategic Trusted Partner for the client executives and top management, developing client relationships, planning strategically the account development, and communicating the account vision to the account team, the sales team, and the partners
Inspire, coach, and develop the account team to increase business value
Drives profitable growth, by shaping, negotiating, and selling deals which are balanced between Client expectations, Team capabilities and Accenture ambitions, in collaboration with the Sales team and the Account team

- 6+ years of experience with strong sales, relationship management and account management experience in the Industrial / Life Sciences industry with top tier global delivery service providers;
- Minimum Masters degree;
- Extensive work experience in a global delivery model and at client sites;
- Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with middle and senior management at clients;
- Deep Account Management and Project Management experience;
- Knowledge of industry specific products, services and solutions
- Good understanding of industry-specific business issues and drivers;
- Proven experience in a rapidly growing account;
- Hands-on experience with proposal/RFP creation and leading RFP/proposal presentations;
- Strong leadership, influencing, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement and sales experience.
- Fluent English required, Dutch or French is a plus
