Regional Description: Belgium

WANTED: Final year students (M/F) to join our dynamic teams
Are you a dynamic, driven and ambitious final year student? Does the sound of
working in a hub of innovation appeal to you? Are you keen to partner with the
business and work to solve complex topics across various industries? Do you see
yourself working in a large international company?
If you answered “yes” (who can blame you?) four times, then you should keep on reading.
What will you be doing?
You act as the trusted advisor for your clients and help them with any difficulties or problems they might encounter. You will discover how the latest technologies are applied in a real business context, and will further develop your skills in any of the following: Technical Design and/or Development (SAP, Java, Mainframe, Cobol, BI, ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend, Mobile, Web Applications…), Network Architecture, Security, Testing and much more.
Our internship program includes both client cases and internal projects. This year we are focusing heavily on innovative technologies (e.g. SAP Hana, SAP Fiori, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, BI Analytics ...) and New IT ways of working (liquid, agile, DevOps…).
You will have the opportunity to show your creativity, come up with new ideas and share your passion for new technologies and software development. During your internship, you will find experts in almost every technology around the world and we offer you a platform to unfold yourself even more with access to exclusive online training material.
And because your internship isn’t just about working on a real client case with our Accenture professionals; it’s also a unique opportunity to do this in another country. Next to internships in our local offices in Belgium, you can work at our Delivery Centers in Riga (Latvia), Bratislava (Slovakia), Prague (Czech Republic), Mauritius and India... Wherever your internship takes you, a warm Accenture welcome is waiting!
“At Accenture, you’re pushed to get out of your comfort zone and encouraged to take on another challenge. This makes the work much more interesting, thrilling and enriching.” – Ines 2016/2017, Brussels
“My advice to other students is to apply for an internship abroad. I myself had the chance to live in another country, get to know another culture and meet lovely people while learning on the job. Everyone should have this experience.” – Eef 2016/2017, Mauritius
“I can honestly say that in the 3 months I’ve been working at Accenture I’ve learned more than 3 months at school. Not only have I learned more about technology, but also social aspects of working in a team, living with a roommate on our own in a foreign country, being independent.” – Daan 2016/2017, Riga
“I really enjoyed the fact that everyone is so approachable and treated me – an intern- as a real fellow colleague, being invited to side activities, such as community meetings, events and workshops. During my internship, I also had the chance to participate in an annual internal Innovation Challenge where everyone within Accenture is being stimulated to come up with innovative ideas and receive coaching along the way to think and act as a startup. They immediately took me in their team and gave me the opportunity to come up with ideas and have my say.” – Paul 2016/2017, Brussels
As an intern doing a technology internship at Accenture, your responsibilities are extremely diverse. You are a final year Bachelor – or Master student with the positive attitude and enjoy working in a team, using your creative and analytical skills to empower our clients by applying new methodologies, processes and technologies. The ultimate goal is to empower our clients to grow, while also growing yourself.
