Your role

As a Supply Chain Management Consulting – Manager in our Resources group you help clients develop strategies and implement/optimize processes and operating models that integrate supply chain planning including demand and inventory management, manufacturing and fulfilment functions within an organization as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended and digital supply chain.

Regardless of the role, the position offers great possibilities to leverage and expand your knowledge and skillset. You work with multidisciplinary teams, often with different nationalities. You learn Accenture’s standards and methods and get on-the-job training from experienced colleagues, which gives you the opportunity to develop yourself.

Your profile

You are ambitious and committed to developing yourself. You are able to coach and develop more consultants and analysts to create a strong Supply Chain Management team. In particular, you have the ability to:

·Shape and deliver business transformation projects with guidance from Accenture experts

·Prepare project plans and analyze the value and impact of the proposed changes to the client’s existing processes

·Run diagnosis and assessment activities, identify opportunities for improvement and conduct high-level cost/benefit analyses

·Undertake complex business problem solving requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives

·Build good client relationships at all levels of the organization

·Manage team and work effort with autonomy in decision-making and in determining approaches to critical assignments

·Consult and partner with clients on supply chain topics in our targeted industries in order to help them develop high performance solutions

·Support sales and business development bringing the best of Supply Chain to our prospects and customers



- Master’s degree, ideally with CPIM or CSCP certification. 

- More than 5 years of experience in supply chain planning (including S&OP, master and detailed planning & scheduling), demand and inventory management, strategy, distribution network design, manufacturing and fulfillment.

- Relevant experience of working in an international environment 

- Industry experience with a strong focus on the chemicals, natural resources or utilities industry/sector  is a strong advantage but not a must

- Excellent project planning, management and execution skills 

- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills 

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills 

- Proven sales skills 

- Fluent in English, and excellent knowledge of Dutch and French
